- 80g Softened Butter
- 2 Garlic Clove, grated
- 40g Parmesan, grated
- 2 x 500g Brussel Sprouts
- 6 Sprigs Thyme, leaves only
- 1 tbsp Black Pepper
- 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
- 3 tbsp Olive Oil
- 4 Streaky Bacon
Instructions-
(Additional ingredients you can use in the butter- finely chopped chestnuts, lemon zest, honey, miso paste)
-Firstly create your flavoured butter by softening the butter and grating in the garlic, Parmesan, thyme leaves, salt, pepper, brown sugar & olive oil.
-Line a baking tray with baking parchment (if you want some new trays check out my Amazon storefront for the trays and oven sheets.)
-Brush the tray with the butter then remove the dirty stalk and halve the Brussels sprouts, removing any loose outer leaves, place flat side down onto the butter.
-Cover the tray with foil and bake at 190°c for 25-35 minutes until the sprouts are fork tender.
-At the same time add the bacon to an oven tray and bake for 20-25 minutes until crispy. Leave to cook on an angle to drain the fat away, once cooked this will turn crispy and create your bacon crumb.
-Serve and enjoy!
