EASY SLOW COOKER PULLED PORK
This Easy Slow Cooker Pulled Pork recipe is a fuss-free way to create mouth-watering pulled pork that's packed with savoury and smoky flavours. The slow cooker does all the work, infusing the meat with the delicious mixture of spices, sugar, and vinegar. It's perfect for wraps, burgers, sandwiches, tacos, or served alongside your favourite sides.

Ingredients-
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 4 garlic cloves, diced
- 2 tbsp paprika
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp each salt & pepper
- 1 tbsp cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1.5kg pork shoulder
- 1 pomegranate or orange
- 200ml chicken/veg stock
Instructions-
Make the sauce by adding the spices, S&P, vinegar & sugar along with the fruit juice into a bowl. Finely dice the onion and garlic and add to the slow cooker, next add the pork, pour the dressing over the pork and finish with the stock around the edge. Leave on low for 10 hours (increased from 8) or high for 6- check after 5.
Once cooked, remove the strings and fat cap then shred the pork, it should fall apart as in the video.
Mix well with the sauce below and serve.Troubleshooting- It really does depend on your slow cooker- age/heat retention/size.
Leave the lid off for the last hour to thicken up sauces and turn up the heat, joints of meat, keep an eye on these, if it’s not shred-able, you can always cut in half to speed up cooking, and leave for longer on high, keep an eye on it
