GARLIC & CHILLI CRISS-CROSS POTATOES

Transform ordinary potatoes into a delightful side dish with these Garlic & Chilli Criss-Cross Potatoes. The unique criss-cross cut allows the flavour dressing of olive oil, chilli flakes, and garlic powder to infuse every bite. Ingredients-

  • 4 potatoes

  • Dressing:

    • 2 tbsp olive oil

    • 1/2 tsp chilli flakes

    • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

    • Pinch of salt


Instructions-

  1. Preheat your oven to 175°C.

  2. Peel the potatoes and cut them into 1 cm rounds. Using skewers on each side of the potato, cut the potato diagonally every couple of millimetres. Flip the potato and repeat the criss-cross cuts on the other side in the opposite direction.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, chilli flakes, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt to create the dressing.

  4. Drizzle the dressing over the criss-crossed potatoes, ensuring they are evenly coated.

  5. Place the potatoes on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Flip the potatoes and bake for an additional 8 minutes if needed, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
