Ingredients-
1 tbsp sesame oil
2 cloves garlic, grated
2 cm piece ginger, grated
700ml water
1 chicken stock cube
Ramen noodles (2 servings)
1 tbsp dark soy
1 tbsp light soy
Fresh medium red chili (adjust to taste)
1 tsp miso paste
1/2 tsp Chinese five spice (optional)
Method-
Sauté ginger and garlic in sesame oil for 3-5 minutes.
Add water and chicken stock cube.
Incorporate soy sauce, miso, chili, and five spices; simmer for 20 minutes.
Serve with preferred toppings—mushrooms, pepper, fresh chili, coriander, and lime.
Enhance the flavour with a soft-boiled egg (6 1/2 minutes), peeled, cut in half.
Optionally, drizzle with char sui sauce for an extra layer of taste.
