SLOW COOKER STICKY BEEF NOODLES
A simple and delicious dish that combines diced beef with a sweet and slightly spicy sauce

Ingredients
- 400g diced beef
- 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 2 tbsp cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp honey
- 200ml hot water
- 1 beef oxo
- 2 garlic cloves, grated
- 1 thumb sized piece ginger, finely diced
- 1 red pepper, rough chopped
- 1 onion finely diced
Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Ready to wok Noodles (for serving)
Instructions
In the slow cooker, combine all of the above ingredients the first list to the onion.
Yes you can brown the beef before going into the slow cooker but it’s not essential.
Cook on high for 5 hours or on low for 8 hours. For more tender beef, it’s recommended to use the low setting. If using the high setting, consider cutting the beef into smaller pieces, around 1cm cubes.
Once the beef is fully cooked add the ready to wok noodles for around 15 minutes until fully softened. It additional liquid is needed, add a splash of light soy sauce and water.
Finish the dish with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and fresh coriander.
